Es habitual que tanto empresas de software como de hardware solo den soporte “oficial” a las distribuciones de Linux que tienen una empresa detras. (RedHat, Suse…) Cuando sus productos funcionan perfectamente en cualquier distribución

Segun podemos leer en esta noticia de Infoworld HP va dar soporte oficial a esta distribución, esto puede conseguir que tengamos soporte en los servidores COMPAQ para instalar en ella nuestras distribuciones Debian.
